Minimum of 3 private sessions is required before starting group based classes. Group classes are not for those persons with acute physical problems or newly out of physical rehabilitation. If, during the private orientation session, or prior to visiting the studio, the instructor deems a problem too great, private training will be recommended. Private Sessions are tailored for each individual and will address specific injuries and difficulties. After a period of time in private training, you may be allowed to join a group class.

Circuit Class

Get ready for a challenging 60-minute non-stop workout. STOTT PILATES circuit training classes include exercises on the mat, reformer, stability chair, barrels, BOSU®, foam rollers, and other small props. This class is best suited for those who feel very comfortable with Essential Level exercises and would like to add challenge to their workout. To participate, clients must have taken mat and reformer classes and should discuss their interest in the class with the instructor to determine eligibility.

Combo Class

This is a 1.5-hour class. We do .5 hour of cardio exercise on the rebounder, .5 hour of mat exercises, and .5 hour of equipment-based exercises to test coordination, balance, and strength. Prerequisites: Essential Level Mat, Essential Level Equipment, instructor permission.

Essential Level Equipment

These are equipment-based beginning level classes. The addition of spring tension will challenge your strength and stability. All levels are welcome, with instructor permission.

Intermediate / Advanced Level Equipment

These are equipment-based continuing level classes. We increase our strength, flexibility, endurance, and coordination. Prerequisites: Essential Level Equipment Class, instructor permission; attending class twice per week is strongly suggested.

Beach Pilates

Beach Pilates classes are located at Kailua Beach Park from June-September at 6:30 am and by appointment. You must sign up prior to taking the class. Please bring mat & towel.

Essential Level Mat

Learn the five basic principles and the essential exercises of STOTT PILATES. Small equipment is incorporated to aid in execution of exercises. All levels are welcome, with instructor permission.

Intermediate / Advanced Level Mat

We pick up the pace and learn new exercises that will test coordination, balance, and strength. Prerequisites: Essential Mat, instructor permission; attending class twice per week is strongly suggested.
